Mia’s amputation date is set up. In exactly one week, I will be dropping her off at our veterinarian to rid her of this cancer. I can only hope we’re making the right decision, I guess we’ll find out.

Just got caught up on your blog. I am so sorry you are having to deal with this but I have to say I think you are doing your best for your sweet girl. It is obvious how much you love Mia and what an integral part of your familiy she is. You have done your research and Given your options it seems you are giving her the best chance to continue to enjoy life to the fullest. Keep posting and if you have specific questions hop over to the forums, you will be sure to get multiple answers!
Mia is just a beautiful girl and she should have no problems on three legs after she recovers fully. We’ll be thinking of you!
